FocusPal is developed and published by FaoiteApps. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: your data stays on your device and we do not collect, transmit, or share any of it.

Information We Collect

FocusPal does not collect any personal information. All data you create within the app — including your name, study sessions, XP, streaks, settings, and subject choices — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. None of this data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally to provide its features:

Your display name and chosen study goals
Study session history (subject, duration, date, XP earned)
Streak and statistics data
App settings and preferences (timer duration, sounds, notifications, selected character)
In-app purchase status

This data never leaves your device. If you uninstall the app or use the "Reset all data" option within Settings, this data is permanently deleted.

Third-Party Services

FocusPal does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services. No SDKs or libraries within the app transmit your data externally.

In-App Purchases

FocusPal offers optional in-app purchases to unlock PRO features. These transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. FaoiteApps does not receive, process, or store any payment or billing information. Google's own privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

Notifications

FocusPal may send local notifications (session complete alerts and daily study reminders) if you grant permission. These notifications are generated on your device and do not involve any external push notification service or server.

Children's Privacy

FocusPal does not collect any personal data from any user, including children. The app is suitable for all ages as a study and focus tool. Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of personal information from children being shared externally.

Data Security

Because all data remains on your device and is never transmitted over the internet, your information is protected by the security measures of your own device (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this same URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
